On behalf of our entire staff, let me welcome you to Stonebriar Veterinary Centre. I am a native of North Texas and I am proud to call Frisco my home. I was lucky to have grown up surrounded by a variety of farm and companion animals. It gave me joy and pride to help care for them and laid the foundation for the rest of my life's work. Having practiced for several years in a variety of clinics doing relief work, I gained a unique perspective to assist me in building my dream - a practice focused on exceptional medical care, patient comfort and client service. My professional interests include dentistry, client education, behavioral counseling, and general surgery.

My husband Dave and I have a daughter, Emma and four other companions at home: two dogs, Red and Stoli, and two cats, Mama Kitty and Joey. I am excited to raise my family here and look forward to the opportunity to assist you in caring for your furry family members. We wish you many happy and healthy years ahead.

I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, spent four years in Littleton, Colorado but got to Collin County as fast as I could! I had the great fortune of spending my teenage years in Plano where I attended Plano East Senior High. I did part of my undergraduate work at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth where I played NCAA basketball. After two years, I transferred to Texas A&M University where I spent the next five years in College Station earning my two degrees. I am excited to return to the Collin County area with my wonderful husband Daryl.

Our family consists of our three cats Kiwi, Keds and Stinky, and our 2 beautiful dogs - Hannah and Gracie. Hannah is an 8 year old Irish Setter. She comes to work with me everyday and is always by my side. Our newest addition is Gracie! She is an energetic 1 year old Gordon Setter that enjoys spending her days in 'doggie daycare' at SVC.

My clinical interests include surgery, dentistry, radiology and client education, but I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine. I have worked in the veterinary field for the past 12 years at many different clinics in the area. I also spent a summer in Hawaii working with dolphins and learning more about animal behavior/ training.

I am happy to be at Stonebriar Veterinary Centre surrounded by a caring staff, wonderful doctors and great clients like yourself. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and your four-legged family members. I feel lucky to spend every day doing what I love!

I am a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico and decided to leave the sunshine and experience college life in the midwest. After graduation, I had the opportunity to spend time in San Diego at the Wild Animal Park and Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital of San Diego. This is where I met my husband Michael. We relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1995 where I spent 8 years working in a general medical practice. I worked alongside a doctor who specialized in dermatology. This was an extremely valuable experience for me. My husband's job transferred us to Dallas, Texas in 2003. We have been fortunate to live in very beautiful places and we're looking forward to staying here for a very long time. Texas is very special to us since this is where our son Dante was born in 2005.

We also share our home with our two beloved Yorkies, 'Pablo' and 'Eva' and a mischievous Lop Eared Bunny named 'Luli'. My special areas of professional interest include internal medicine, dermatology and soft tissue surgery. My sincere commitment will be to offer you the most honest and highest quality medicine and surgery available in order to keep your furry companion healthy and happy for many, many years to come. I look forward to seeing you soon!

Hamilton Olarte

PRACTICE MANAGER

I was born in Colombia, South America. After a little traveling I made it to New Jersey/New York Metropolitan area where I attended high school and there after I attended college in Pennsylvania. After college I began working as Veterinary Technician for many years, where I fell in love with Veterinary Medicine. I have since been delighted to grow into servicing clients that need veterinary support.

Back in 2000 I married my amazing wife Aleena and we settled in McKinney to begin our family life, which included 2 instant members. Her Rhodesian Ridgeback named "Bailee" and my chubby little Himalayan Kitty named "Andy". As time does to most families we have grown in leaps & bounds since then. Our family now includes two spectacular daughters Makayla & Danyella, whom were both born here Plano, Texas. They attend elementary school in McKinney and are heavily involved in sports and taking care of their furry and feathered family members. Our family also includes "Samba" our Lab puppy which you will probably see in our daycare room playing with her buddies or even outside in our 1/2 acre fenced in yard chasing balls, her favorite activity! We also have another Rhodesian named "Zangora" who now has to help us train his little sister, as she tests him daily through her puppyhood. Next we have "Lola" a very inquisitive and unique Umbrella Cockatoo! And yes we still have my now older but still chubby Himalayan Kitty "Andy".

After going through life with a very deep passion and admiration for ALL animals I have finally fallen into my dream career position, serving as the Practice Manager for Stonebriar Veterinary Centre. Please come see me for any questions you have or even a tour of our wonderful facility. I would love to chat with you and meet your special family members.
